New paper out

A review of 12 biodiversity databases, the status, and barriers for data integration. The new collaborative BIEN paper led by Xiao Feng (Florida State University) highlights the importance of improving bioinformatics to advance biodiversity research. “A review of the heterogeneous landscape of biodiversity databases: Opportunities and challenges for a synthesized biodiversity knowledge base” is out in Global Ecology and Biogeography, and you can read it here (or e-mail Naia for a copy)
